The point of all this

What you actually leave with

Not a belt. Not a certificate to hang in the hallway. You leave with a body that knows what to do before your mind has finished catching up — and a mind that has already been somewhere frightening once, in a room where it was safe to go there.

Most people who come to me are not trying to become fighters. They are trying to stop feeling like something could happen to them and they would have no answer. That feeling is not solved by learning fifty techniques. It is solved by learning a handful of things so well that they hold up when you are scared, tired, and surprised — which is the only condition under which you will ever need them.

So we train for that condition. We train close, off-balance, from bad positions, from a seat, from the ground, with your hands full and your kid on your hip. Because that is where real life happens, and a skill that only works from a perfect stance in a quiet room is not a skill. It is a hobby.

Who this is for

Who trains here

I have taught soccer moms and SWAT teams in the same week, and the honest truth is that the fundamentals do not change. Only the pace does.

Parents who want their kids prepared

Not to fight — to notice, to speak up, to get away, and to know that their body belongs to them. Age-appropriate from five years old, and never frightening.

The kid leaving for college

A dorm, a party, a parking garage, a roommate's friend you don't know. Focused, unsentimental, and taught in the small window you have before they go.

Women who are done feeling like a target

You do not need to be athletic, young, or aggressive. You need leverage, timing, willingness, and a few things that work when someone is bigger than you. That is teachable.

Anyone rebuilding after something happened

Trauma changes what training needs to look like. We go at your pace, you keep control of the room, and nothing happens to you that you did not agree to first.

Strong people who have never been tested

Being big and being hard to hurt are different things. If you have always assumed you would handle it, this is the safest possible place to find out what is actually there.

Professionals who carry the responsibility

Officers, security teams, and protective details who need control, retention, and decision-making under load — not choreography.

Method

How I train people

The foundation of everything I teach is Krav Maga — the system built for the Israeli Defense Forces and still used by them today. It earned that place by being the least romantic martial art in the world. No forms. No belts. No tournaments. No gear you have to buy before you are allowed to start. It exists to get an ordinary person home.

But I do not teach a style, and I am not interested in you becoming a Krav Maga practitioner. Those principles are the floor. On top of them I bring firearms work, weapons defense, medical response, and years of teaching people whose lives genuinely depended on getting it right. What I teach you is drawn from whichever of those actually solves your problem.

Every session is built around three questions: What is most likely to happen to you? What would you be able to do under real stress? And what is the simplest thing that works? If a technique cannot survive those three questions, we do not spend your time on it.

And you will never be humiliated in my class. Not once. There is a kind of instructor who builds their authority by showing you how helpless you are. I think that is the opposite of the job. You should leave every single session more capable than you walked in, and knowing it.

Start with a conversation, not a commitment.

Tell me who the training is for and what is worrying you. I will tell you honestly what I would start with — and if I am not the right fit, I will say that too.
